This device allows you to drill exactly perpendicular through any object with rotational symmetry in at least one direction; this is valuable for things like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Smoking pipes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Beaters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hanging holes on tool handles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This guide is to explain how to use this jig if ever the need arises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Printing and assembling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Download the STL <a href=\"https:\/\/najey.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/RODG.zip\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>, and print it in PLA at around 50% infill. This doesn&#8217;t need to be exact!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Setting up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Adjust the height of the drill bed before starting any work. The same principle applies but the pencil must now align with the tip of the cone as opposed to the cross.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Usage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This is pretty self-explanatory so I&#8217;ll keep it brief.
